Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: 28th July 2026
Welcome to Premium Driving School. By booking or taking driving lessons with us, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before booking your lessons.
1. About Premium Driving School
Premium Driving School provides professional manual and automatic driving lessons in and around:
- Luton
- Leighton Buzzard
- St Albans
Lessons are provided by our driving instructors subject to availability and the arrangements agreed with the learner.
2. Booking Driving Lessons
Driving lessons can be booked by contacting Premium Driving School by telephone, through our website, or through any other booking method made available by us.
A lesson is considered booked once the booking has been confirmed by Premium Driving School or the relevant instructor.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a booking where there is a reasonable operational, safety or availability-related reason.
3. Learner Requirements
Learners must meet the legal requirements for driving on public roads in the UK.
Before starting lessons, learners must:
- Hold a valid provisional or full UK driving licence where applicable.
- Meet the relevant DVLA requirements for driving.
- Be legally entitled to drive the vehicle being used for the lesson.
- Inform their instructor of any relevant medical condition, medication, disability or other circumstance that may affect their ability to drive safely.
Learners are responsible for providing accurate information about their licence and eligibility to drive.
4. Driving Lessons
Driving lessons are normally conducted at an agreed time and location.
Lesson duration and frequency will be agreed between the learner and instructor. Lessons may include practical driving, manoeuvres, independent driving, test preparation and other areas considered appropriate for the learner’s development.
The instructor may modify, postpone or terminate a lesson where they reasonably believe that continuing would be unsafe.
5. Manual and Automatic Lessons
Premium Driving School may offer both manual and automatic driving lessons.
Learners should make sure they book the type of lesson appropriate for their needs. Where a learner wishes to change between manual and automatic tuition, availability and any applicable charges should be discussed with the instructor beforehand.
6. Lesson Payments
Lesson prices and payment arrangements will be communicated to the learner before or at the time of booking.
Payment may be required before a lesson, at the start of a lesson, or according to an agreed payment arrangement.
Where a payment is outstanding, Premium Driving School or the instructor may suspend further lessons until the outstanding amount has been paid.
Any promotional prices, introductory offers or prepaid lesson packages are subject to the terms communicated at the time of purchase.
7. Cancellation and Rescheduling
We understand that circumstances can change. Learners should provide as much notice as possible if they need to cancel or rearrange a lesson.
Where a learner cancels or reschedules with insufficient notice, the lesson may be charged in full or treated as a used lesson, depending on the cancellation terms communicated at the time of booking.
Where an instructor needs to cancel or rearrange a lesson because of illness, vehicle problems, adverse weather, traffic conditions or other circumstances outside their reasonable control, the lesson will normally be rearranged for another suitable time.
8. Late Arrival
Learners are expected to arrive at the agreed meeting point on time.
If a learner is late, the lesson may still finish at the originally scheduled time. The instructor will generally not be able to extend the lesson to compensate for time lost because of the learner’s late arrival.
Where an instructor is delayed, reasonable efforts will be made to provide the full lesson time or arrange an appropriate alternative.
9. Driving Tests
Premium Driving School may assist learners with driving-test preparation and, subject to availability, may provide a vehicle for a practical driving test.
A driving-test booking is separate from the provision of driving lessons unless expressly stated otherwise.
Learners are responsible for ensuring that they are properly prepared and eligible to take their test.
Premium Driving School cannot guarantee that a learner will pass their driving test.
10. Use of the Instructor’s Vehicle
Where a learner is using an instructor’s vehicle, the learner must follow all reasonable instructions given by the instructor.
The vehicle must only be used for authorised driving tuition or other purposes agreed with the instructor.
The instructor may refuse to allow a learner to drive if they believe the learner is unfit, has consumed alcohol or drugs, is excessively tired, or otherwise presents a safety risk.
11. Safety
Safety is our priority.
Driving lessons may be stopped or postponed where conditions make it unsafe or impractical to continue, including severe weather, vehicle faults, road closures or other circumstances affecting road safety.
Learners must follow the Highway Code and all reasonable safety instructions provided by their instructor.
12. Personal Belongings
Learners remain responsible for their personal belongings during driving lessons.
Premium Driving School and its instructors cannot accept responsibility for personal items that are lost, damaged or left in a vehicle, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
13. Learner Behaviour
Learners are expected to behave respectfully and appropriately towards instructors and other road users.
Abusive, threatening, discriminatory or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.
Premium Driving School reserves the right to terminate lessons or refuse future bookings where a learner’s behaviour creates a safety concern or is otherwise unacceptable.
14. Instructor Changes
We will make reasonable efforts to provide the instructor agreed with the learner. However, circumstances such as instructor availability, illness, holidays or other operational requirements may occasionally require a different instructor.
Where reasonably possible, learners will be informed in advance of any significant change.
15. Results and Guarantees
Driving ability develops differently from learner to learner. Premium Driving School does not guarantee that a learner will pass their driving test within a particular number of lessons or by a particular date.
Our instructors will provide tuition appropriate to the learner’s current ability and work towards helping the learner become a safe and confident driver.

Subject to applicable law, Premium Driving School is not responsible for losses arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control.
20. Events Outside Our Control
We will not be responsible for delays, cancellations or interruptions caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, accidents, road closures, traffic disruption, vehicle breakdowns, illness, government restrictions or other unforeseen events.
Where possible, we will work with the learner to rearrange affected lessons.
